A facebook friend posted this on her wall so i had to check it out. I live in Houston, just last weekend i ran in the Houston Chevron Marathon, proud to say my 2nd full Marathon This event sounds super fun. Our families are from South Texas so we are going to try n head on down that way to visit familia and hopefully participate in your event. I went over your entire website and it sounds like it’s pretty well organized, Kudos to that Hope to see everyone out there….RLAM
That is the feeling we all get in our first 1/2 marathon race, I agree with Hector’s recommendation, just relax and enjoy the run, run at your pace, don’t try to run at anyone else’s pace, before you know it you will be entering the finish line and you will feel great about your accomplishment. You will feel you cannot wait until the next 1/2 marathon. Good luck!

When I register my kid and I get a free Viper Ticket, how can I buy a ticket for myself?
Hi Mr. Soto,
You can purchase a Viper Ticket at the same time you are registering your kid, it gives you that option to buy more tickets at a discount.
Thank you,
Hector
Yes, will be tiniknhg of you tomorrow, Mark – and we fully hope to be seeing your blog telling us that you DID break your 4 hours. Run well and safe!
I would like to sign up for the 5k – will we be receiving finisher’s medals, or are the awards only for the top runners in each category?
